Aleksandra Topolska was born in 1996 in Łowicz, Poland. She studied chemistry at Lodz University od Technology, where she obtained her B. Sc and M. Sc degree in the field of organic chemistry under the supervision of prof. Łukasz Albrecht. She decided to continue her education and started her Ph. D. studies also in prof. Łukasz Albrecht’s group. Her current research focuses on organocatalytic assymmetric functionalization of heteroaromatic aldehydes.
